He has over 32 years of experience across finance and advisory roles and close to 20 years of experience with BDO India, where he also served as a partner (Lodha & Co. Kolkata). During the years, he has handled and led various mandates of corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, diligence, valuation, restructuring, and advisory cases.
As part of the exposure, he had the opportunity to deal with leaders of various sectors throughout the country and overseas.
He has worked as Global CFO in an Indian-grown multinational in the BPM Sector, having a presence in 15 countries in NALATAM, EMEA, Asia, and the Pacific Region.

Madhurima has over 30 years of experience in finance and advisory roles. Madhurima has worked on several transactions in mergers and acquisitions. Her breadth of industry experience includes information technology, consumer, industrial, financial services, media, and other sectors. She has been involved in fundraising, buy-side and sell-side advisory engagements, business plan reviews, and pricing analysis.
Madhurima’s experience includes helping identify investors/ targets, negotiations, support during the due diligence process, and closing transactions in conjunction with legal and tax advisors.
She was part of the Corporate Finance & Investment Banking team at PwC Mumbai for more than 15 years. She has a PGDM degree from IIM Bangalore. She has worked with many large multinationals and Indian promoter companies in advising them on various business, tax, and regulatory.

Sharad is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a Company Secretary. He is an Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) member as an Insolvency Professional and Registered Valuer (SFA).
With over 23 years of experience across various advisory roles 11+ years of experience has worked with BDO India in a senior position. Respected for setting up financial models and the knowledge process outsourcing wing.
He has also been actively involved in mergers and acquisition deals, diligences, valuation, restructuring, and advisory cases. As part of his exposure, he had the opportunity to deal with senior management and leaders of various sectors across the country and overseas.
For 10+ years, he led RJV Advisors Private Limited. He handled a team of more than 40 high-performing professionals involved in various advisory, valuation, diligences, process designing and implementation, funding deals, and assignments.
He is a part of various forums and bodies, including Junior Chamber International, Rotary International, and the International Chamber of Business and Industry, where he has been part of the executive committee and led chapters.

Jaideep has significant expertise in Practice Management, Business Development and Program Delivery in the areas of strategy and transformation. He has been involved in consulting for a number of corporate clients in the areas of business planning, corporate performance and operations for clients in sectors spanning Infrastructure, IT/ITES, logistics and Banking and Financial Services.
Jaideep’s work experience comprises nearly twenty years of engagement with two of the Big Four firms in India.

Jaideep has been a partner with one of the Big 4’s ERP practice and subsequently, has been the leader of that firm’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practice (part of Risk Advisory) in India based out of Bangalore between 2004 and 2007. In this role, Jaideep has directed large compliance related engagements, including those in the areas of Sarbanes Oxley readiness, SAS 70 reviews as well as Clause 49 consulting.
Key clients in this area have been in the Financial Services and IT/ITES industry groups.
A significant area of focus for Jaideep’s consulting career has been on IT-led business transformation. A core area of expertise is the conceptualization, design, technology enablement and delivery of a KPI based Financial, Risk and Performance Management Framework unique to professional services organizations.

Can an arbitral institution require parties’ membership as a pre-requisite for forming an arbitral tribunal under its rules when parties have agreed to arbitrate under those rules?
Answer :The Hon’ble Delhi High Court, in the case of Rani Construction v. Union of India (ARB.P. 1011/2023), ruled that arbitral institution membership cannot be mandated as a prerequisite for arbitration. Hon’ble Justice Sachin Datta’s bench clarified that when parties opt for arbitration under an institution, it doesn’t imply automatic membership acceptance.
